3D Flappers These Decoys have true up and down Flapping Motion. The 3D Flappers are made of solid cast plastic, almost Shot proof. There is multiple species available; all of them have folding wings. The 3D Flapper design are designed with folding wings and the weight makes them extremely easy to carry and transport to the field. All of the flappers sit on 1/2 EMT conduit metal poles. Most of them have a slot built into the decoy pole receiver so you can affix a setscrew in your pole to stop any twisting motion; a great way to keep the decoy facing the wind. They all have plastic gears with very few metal parts. This makes these motion decoys very weather resistant. They operate for up to 3 hours on just 2 AA batteries. Think about that. You can carry enough batteries in your pocket to last all day. These decoys are the ultimate in motion decoy hunting. When used with the Decoy H-Bar it becomes the most versatile motion Decoy available today. The design works well as a single motion decoy in a spread. But, if you are looking for even better results use in multiples. No matter what time of the season you can hunt the 3D Flappers and will not flare birds. . The H-Bar was developed for the Serious Waterfowler. The Unique but simple design creates a way for you to float all of 3D Flappers. This Product has revolutionized the use of Motion Decoys. By having up to 3 Motion Decoys in your spread.One of the problems with using Motion Decoys is the length of poles. This problem became real obvious when hunting for open water Ducks. When Water is deeper than 7 feet the use of a pole is almost prohibited. The H-bar cured all of these problems. The H-bar is built out of sturdy PVC electric conduit; all parts are secured by d-pins. The H-bar frame is supported by four of your floating decoys. The uprights are made out the same metal conduit that you would normally use for all 3D Flappers Motion Decoys. (Look at How to Use) The Greatest use of the H-Bar is to keep your decoys facing the wind. The H-Bar is anchored in the same way that you anchor a normal floating decoy, just use more weight. When the wind and waves hit it will float into the wind just like a floating decoy.
Hunting Ideas
The Proper use of the H-Bar somewhat varies. The idea of having multiple motion decoys in a hunting spread is exciting. The H-bar gives you that opportunity. Placing the H-Bar in the middle of the spread with 3D Flappers works well on the puddlers. We put up to 2 H-Bars in the spread at a time. 3D Flappers unlike spinning wing decoys don't flare birds. So using the H-bar with Flappers for puddlers is great method of puddle duck hunting.If you are using the 3D Wind-Mallard on the H-Bar, then a different concept is needed. Try placing the H-Bar leading into the decoy spread. This gives you the attracting motion and lets the ducks see the floating decoys for the landing area.Diver hunting is a completely different style of hunting. The H-Bar is the most successful method of Diver Duck Hunting I have ever seen. We use both the 3D Wind-Ducks and the 3D Flapper in the spread of divers. We often Hunt from the Boat Blind. We place the triple bird H-Bars in the spread at the lead of the spread and sometime at the middle and the Lead. This will force the Ducks to fly the line of decoys and take their eyes off of your blind. The Advantage to hunting with the 3D Wind-Diver is you never need to change batteries. We H-Bar diver hunt with the 3D Flappers primarily when the wind is variable and light. Another advantage to the 3D Wind-Duck is they float. So matter what rogue wave may hit, you don't have to worry about loosing your Motion Decoy. If you hunt with a single motion decoy on a H-Bar you can be sure that birds will be distracted from the blind. Two motion Decoys on a H-Bar give you twice as much motion, which will help for further distance attracting. Using 3 is truly the ultimate; this gives you a look of a small flock coming down to the spread. With the decreasing pole height the decoys look like they truly on the way down.
H-BAR SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
Get 4 plastic Decoys from your decoy bag. Drill hole 1/4 inch in the middle of the keel. Be sure not to cut hole in the decoy.
• Take H-Bar out of bag, you will have 3 parts the to end sections, the center section, and the upright poles. Align the end with center section.
Important: H-bar Pins are drilled and put in place after assembly. This means you will need to look at pieces hole alignment to insure proper fit.
Tip:
After assembling the H-Bar the first time. You may want to mark the alignment to insure you will be able to assemble easily in the future.
• Once you have both end in the correct hole alignment. Place pins in holes.
Now set your H-bar on the ground and place your upright pole or poles. Be sure to check for your pin alignment. You may want to mark them after the first assembly.
• Place the pins in the poles.
• Now your H-Bar is assemble next you will add your decoys.
• Take your decoy and run a string, wire, or a quality electrical tie in the keel.

WOBBLERS

The Wobblers is made for the water fowler that has a Duck hole without wind to create movement in the decoys. Perfect for still water swamps, low marsh holes where the wind blows over the top, calm wind days, Beaver Ponds and other still water locations. It operates on a single AA battery for up to 8 hours. As Houston Blake an Avid Water Fowler says” It don't make ripples it makes waves ”.
Ducks know that live birds will have ripples around them at all times. Nothing will make a Duck fly by a spread more than the lack of ripples.
These Wobblers are made of Unsinkable Urethane Foam with a plastic coated shell. The wobble making instrument is a standard Wobble Ball the difference is that this ball is affixed to the Detachable Keel so the momentum and wobble action is centrifugal making it last up to 10 hours on a single AA battery. All wobblers are replicas of competition quality Sculptures with Magnum Size. These Decoys put out ripples that attract from a long Distance. Famous Outdoor Writer on Waterfowl, Tom Long says, “ He has never seen a decoy to work so well! He placed 3 Wobblers separate from his spread of 4 dozen decoys and all the Ducks that came in set on the Wobblers”. We have used these by themselves and with other floating Decoys. Either way the decoys are the ultimate plus in floating decoys with ripple motion.
Hunting methods
The Wobbler Decoys are unsinkable. Try using it in your spread as a motion maker for the other decoys by placing it in the center of your spread, with your normal floaters in close proximity.
We have used Wobbler Decoys as the only decoy in the spread. If you own 3-5, you can substitute these decoys for a whole spread of 36 decoys with excellent results. These decoys are made to last. If you have any difficulty with the wobble ball please send back the ball and keel for replacement or repair there is no reason to send back the whole decoy. The paint is an Acrylic it should last for years if properly handled. Do not place in a decoy bag with multiple plastic decoys you could damage the paint and surface by doing so.

The Winduk Decoy is a silhouette style decoy, which is still currently available and works well. The wings turned in a slightest direct wind (as little as 5mph, That is walking speed!). Once we decided which wind driven wing to use, we where then faced with the challenge of building a 3D sculpture that would make the 3D Wind-duck come to life. We then teamed up with the Winduk people for the use of the wings and created a 3D sculpture with competetion style looks that was attractive, durable, Floatable and in a position that the weariest of all Ducks would respond too. Once the first Decoy was made we knew we had a hit. The Decoy worked better and looked better than we could of ever dreamed of. Buy one and watch the duck fall into your spread.
How to Use

Battery
Slide batteries in with the positive (+) pole toward the solid tin
opposite the spring. Diagram is in the bottom of the battery
compartment. Once batteries are in close the lid by inserting the
forward portion of the lid in place then pushing down on the back until
flush.
Note: Batteries on most models will last for 4-6 hours. Use good quality alkaline AA batteries. |

The wings are designed to fold up for easy transport. To fold wings out grab the wing in the mid section and pull level toward natural flight position. Wings will snap into place when you get close to full open. Be careful on extremely cold days the locking tab will become brittle with cold air. |

To bring wings back in a folded position grab mid section of the wing and fold back toward the body. The wings should be in a mid stroke position Trying to fold wings in full downward stroke position could result in damaging of the folding joint. |

Attach to pole by sliding down on the hole located in bottom of the 3D Flapper. Use the correct angle of the hole. Some of the decoys will have more of an upright position than others. The 3D Flappers are designed to fit firmly on the pole. Try a slight twisting motion to seat the decoy. You may find after a long period of use the decoy will become loose on the pole. If this happens coat the hole in the Flapper with thin layer of rubber cement. You can apply more coats if necessary to make a firmer fit. |

All 3D Flappers use 1/2 inch metal EMT electrical conduit pipe. You can buy conduit pipe from most Hardware stores and Electric Supply Stores. The cost is inexpensive. It will come in a 10 ft. section. Cut to the desired length of your hunting application. The 3D Flapper ducks works best if out of the water 2.5 feet. Dove decoy pole may vary to any height. We suggest 4 feet. Paint the pole with flat black enamel paint. Example: hunting in 2 feet of water and pushing pole in 2 feet of mud with 3D flapper 2.5 feet out of water will require a 6.5 foot pole. |

The switch is located above or below the right wing. Turn on by moving the switch forward. You may stop the drive motion by hand by grabbing the wings. Try to avoid prolong interruptions of the flapping motion while switch is on. Turning off the Flapper by moving the switch to the rear of the bird. |
WARRANTY
Retriever World is proud to offer a limited warranty on all of its motion 3d flappers decoys. With Proper maintenance and care your motion Decoy should offer many seasons of use. Although strong and durable, common sense should be used while hunting with the decoys.
All decoys are warranted for full replacement at date of purchase to work and operate. If you have purchased a decoy and that doesn’t operate. Send back to Retriever World with receipt of date of purchase and a new decoy will be sent to you immediately.
The 3D Flapper Decoys surfaces are hand painted. Avoid situations that will cause the paint to chip or scratch off. If the decoy becomes unrecognizable from loss of paint, Retriever World will repaint for a fee of $25.
The 3D Flapper Decoy is weather resistant. Normal hunting conditions of rain, snow, sleet, will not affect the operating system. If used in wet weather, be sure to place decoy in a dry environment as soon as hunt is over.
Try to avoid submersion. The 3D Flapper decoy is not warranted against submersion. If dropped in the water take batteries out immediately! Dry the battery compartment and blow water away from the switch and from under the wing in the drive assembly area. Replace the batteries and turn switch back on and run for a minimum of 60 minutes to dry out working parts from friction.
The wings are made of a synthetic cloth. Under normal hunting conditions the wings should last for 2-3 seasons. Replacement wings are available for a cost of $20 a pair. When replacing tear the wing off of the plastic frame slowly. Tear from the body toward the wing tip. Place super glue gel along the top of the frame and glue new wing in place. Put wing on it farthest stroke down and glue to body.
If submersed or plastic Drive parts break, Retriever World will replace the complete drive Assembly at cost. Send the whole decoy to Retriever World and a complete drive assembly with wings will be installed for $35,plus shipping and handling.
